In 2007, the park district re-designed this canoe access site to protect the Kokosing State Scenic River and to afford visitors a more convenient access from Millroad Road. This site is located just west of the intersection of US 62 and Millwood Road at 11640 Bridge Street. Installation of picnic tables, a grill, port-o-john (seasonal) and an information kiosk at this popular site will greet the visitor. The site serves as an excellent access point to launch a hand-powered craft, swim, fish or lounge at the river's edge.
