Good News: The Knox County Commissioners were awarded a $1.7 million grant to construct a tunnel under US26/SR3 east of Centerburg as part of the Heart of Ohio Trail. Asphalt paving will be applied to the trail surface from Bishop to Updike Road. The sixteen mile Heart of Ohio Trail is cleared, and bridges will be upgraded along the trail in early 2008.
